The Korean Academy of Asthma, Allergy and Clinical Immunology

The World Allergy Organization (WAO) is an international umbrella organization whose members consist of 84 regional and national allergology and clinical immunology societies from around the world. By collaborating with member societies, WAO provides direct educational outreach programs, symposia and lectureships to members in nearly 100 countries around the globe.

The WAO holds its World Allergy Congress (WAC) every two years. Each Congress attracts over 4,000 experts and scientists working and interested in the fields of allergy, immunology and other related fields.

In 2009, the KAAACI won the bid as a host country of the WAC 2015. Holding the WAC2015 successfully in Korea will certainly bring developments in the area of allergy research and improve the quality of life of allergy patients.
